LAND EVALUATION

Like a good old fashioned country doctor - I make house calls to check on your plants and analyze the soil.  My consultation begins with a walk about on the land with you, making observations while we talk story.  I take notes and photos of telltale signs of distress that plants are experiencing.  

I then go home, write a report to outline the issues, and suggest customized protocols to mitigate the noticeable plant related challenges on your land.  These protocols are tailored for your land’s needs, and draw from a synthesis of several modalities, namely Korean Natural Farming, JADAM, Soil Food Web School and permaculture principles. 

In my commitment to helping you implement these practices I am happy to train land care givers to make any and all of the preparations.  My wish is to empower growers to be self sufficient and make everything they need for their soil themselves using locally sourced materials. As a back up or a way to get things rolling I also offer the core inputs and solutions for purchase.

SOIL TESTING

Using a microscope, I see what is present and what is lacking in the biology of your soil and what could be done to create better microbial balance for your trees, perennial and /or annual crops. I work with an independent certified lab to test for soil mineral content and sap analysis reports.
